Got the Solix 3800. Received the breaker panel and attachments. Electrician hooked everything up. Was expecting it to run a few things but guess was expecting more than capable. Even will light load. Will test more. Hope doing something wrong. Advice appreciated. Rick
Easy install. well distributed circuits.
I’d say I’m a handy feller, and this was pretty straight forward. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because the cord plug in the front of the station which means the cord sticks straight out, taking up real estate in the basement. This could be resolved if the ProTrans switch housing was modified, but that’s not an Anker problem, nor is it a dealbreaker. The one issue I had to overcome was moving a few of the key circuits from Panel 1 into Panel 2, because the transfer switch only has one neutral wire Otherwise, the transfer switch install was easy and straightforward!
Solid product, it's ready to go for you or a pro electrician to do the installation.
