I've only had a chance to use it a couple weeks and I love it . I would give it 5 stars if it runs with no problems for the next 5yrs. I take care of my things and try to keep them new for as long as possible. Would also love the 100 watt solar panel to go with it but a little pricey, maybe black Friday deals will be the best yet.
This cooler is great! easily lasts two days on a full charge and is designed super well. the attention to detail such as the best location for the drain plug and the multiple uses for the battery are just the special touches Anker always delivers.
This cooler has been great so far. The battery option to power is super convenient when you are just going for a day trip.
At home, you can have it plugged in through the wall outlet without using the battery. On the drive, you can still use the car cigarette socket before going without. It can still run off a power station but certain trip will allow you to not bring the power station since the battery can last a long enough time and less bulky.
I have not been able to take it out on a trip since I received it and only have been using it in the house as a mini fridge.
We just returned from a 45 day camping road trip out west and this cooler performed flawlessly. It pretty much lived in the back of our SUV the entire time and I was extremely impressed with how easy it was to keep this little baby powered up. It sips power as long as you keep it out of direct sunlight, even in the car when it was 100 degrees plus it usually lasted about 24 hours on it own battery. I was running 2 of the fridge battery plus a Anker F1200 and was off grid for over a week at a time with no worries.
Perfect for weekend camping and road trips. Living on the coast it will come in handy during hurricane season. It's more efficient to run off my F3800 setup than a normal fridge.
