Have used it once to charge my phone. Why? Because my cat knocked over my glass of sparking water and it splashed on my power strip. Had to wait until I could change the plug. Anyway, it is much larger than I thought and quite hefty. Not a big problem, it and the charge cord fit into my purse easily. I'm glad to have the backup!
Great device. Most reviews comment about things like replacing other chargers etc. What are the outlets for? Only thing I would use them for is to plug in a charger, but I don't need to because this is the charger. Could make this device smaller, more transportable, and likely use a thinner power cord by not having the outlets which I would gues smany people have never used.
I'm not happy with this power bank doesn't charge as fast as it says. Plus I charge it up as direct and it feels like it doesn't hold up a charge. I have 10 power banks all from Anker. They all worked great but this last one . Is very disappointing and doesn't represent my past experience with your product.
Gets very hot. I mean, to the point where I start to worry about the longevity of the device. I use this in conjunction with the 100w nano charger (the really small one) from anker, but when using pass thru mode it doesnt charge my MS surface laptop 7 well, throwing up a check charging power notification.
A great purchase. I originally purchased this so me and my bestfriend could charge all our devices without the need to bring multiple chargers. This device does just that and more, the ability to control it via WiFi/Bluetooth is amazing! My only downside which considering what it does, is the charging brick is kinda big. Great purchase overall, and very pleased!
I really like this version with the built in cables for charging. This unit packs a punch and charges quickly. It is a bit heavy but for this amount of stored power it is to be expected. Check out a smaller version to carry in car, photo bag, etc.
I have several Anker products and all are top notch.
Highly recommend.
This cable is awesome. As usual with Anker products, its made well and looks like it wil last. The transfer rate is also very good.
I got tired of the ugly white cords coming out of all of my phones and iPads this is a much sleeper look and it works really really well. I highly recommend and they come in really cool colors.
I travel frequently & need something to charge multiple devices. This product fulfilled all my requirements. I highly recommend this product.
After less than a year the power is unable to recharge/ keep showing take 99 hr 59 min to recharge
I think this product is excellent. There is one suggestion I will make. I would love an extension cord accessory that would be about 24 inches long made of the same cord on this device. Using a common extension cord with this cable could be an issue with long term usage.
Love this item, I usually use 2 chargers and have to use seprate blocks. This eliminates that issue and it feels very sturdy and solid. Stoked to take this out of county as I frequently travel and this might be something I end up buying more of to have in each of my backpacks and one for home!
On one of the sliding graphics above it shows information about High Speed Charging of: 3A at 60W But then if you scroll down before the "FAQ" part it shows: PowerLine II USB-C 3.1 Gen2 Support up to 18W
Q: So what is the correct info on charging capabilities?
Is it 60W or 18W Nice and Confusing for the Buyer : (
Another thing I noticed about these USB-C to USB-A 3.1 Gen2 cables is that on the USB-A side, the plastic part inside is Black in color, when it should be Blue in color - because USB 3.0 and higher should have the Blue plastic color inside. Black or White would indicate USB-2.0
Q: So how could this cable be a USB 3.1 Gen2 with a Black plastic color inside?
While the battery is heavy, it has the power to charge my Dell XPS 15 9530 laptop.
using the cable for my camera and sneaking it through the camera on my super easy and it looks super cool
I bought this to relace the charger for my laptop. The unit is easier to pack than the original charger, charges quickly, and can charge my phone at the same time.
Worked fine and enjoyed it for a few months. Then problems started to appear with charging reconnections. I've read that it's quite common problem, especially when charging Apple Watch with it together with other devices. Now it's just a. brick that cannot charge anything. Sad as now I'm afraid to buy another Anker product since they are not cheap.
I really like having the flexibility of MagSafe or USB-C charing. I have noticed that the MagSafe is less efficient and consumes the battery more quickly than the USB-C method. I also feel like the included instructions are a bit brief. I had to do some research to even determine that USB-C charging of my phone was supported.
I really do like the screen. It gives me much better insight into the remaining battery life than individual LEDs.
It recharges fast and charges my phone with power to spare. It’s a nice size. It fits my life better than the expensive Goal Zero battery.
I needed to replace my old Anker Power Bank and went to Anker because I was very pleased with the first one. This one has nice features to it. It is much bigger and heavier than my old one. I am disappointed that it also charges less. The power bank is completely drained after charging two iPads. It feels the technology has taken a step backwards.
It’s been several weeks since I ordered, have tried the chat and email to no avail. Have yet to receive my item.
This Anker 523 Charger (Nano 3, 47W) works great! It is nice to be able to charge two devices at once on one plug. Will be great when cruising and plugs are hard to come by.
On my Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, the max charging current I can get is about 450mA. If I remove my phone's case it makes no difference. If I plug the USB-C cable in directly I get 2000mA.
My budget Amazon wireless charger can do 2000mA no problem with the same wall charger so the problem is clearly with this Anker device and its wireless charging capabilities.
Bought this in Japan since it's not available locally.
