I ordered it on January 10 got an email that I would receive it in 3-7 business days. I have received the solar panels but not the actual power station. When I called inquiring not once, not twice but THREE time the best I was told was told they don’t know and I just had to wait they would get around to it. This has been a trouble experience, terrible customer service and I really wish I would have gone with a different company. I thought I could trust this brand because I was familiar with the product but I was so wrong.
Never received my order, or an issue on delivery! Sent email inquiring about delivery and received a random, we are working to get orders out.
I purchased this due to our power company shutting down the grid due to wildfire concerns. It came with a 30% charge and using the solar panels it fully charged in 5.5 hours (so ~8 hours from empty). This is during a winter month where solar irradiance is at its weakest due to lower sunlight intensity so I’d expect it would be even quicker during more optimal conditions in California.
I tested the battery capacity by running my refrigerator off of it and throughout the test the data breaks down to ~35 hours of usage. I could technically run my fridge forever in case of a power outage by solar charging during the day. It also came with a car adapter so I could use my car as a gas generator to charge the battery and it’s great to be able to have multiple formats of charging in emergencies.
The size of the folded panels and battery are so where it fits neatly in a closet for emergencies. They fit great alongside my car camping gear in the back of my Jeep Wrangler.
If I could improve one thing it would be to make the built in flashlight have a few more brighter steps. While it illuminates a dark kitchen, it’s not bright enough to accommodate a more open floor plan as much as I’d like.
Equipment amazing - price excellent.
FedeX was a disaster. Tracking page said couldn'y access that info - try laer (ever day))
Had to stay around house for days to catch pacdkage on the porch.
Solix C1000X is a SOLID unit. Love the quick charge. Works well for powering most items I take camping. Bluetooth is finicky. Had to reset the Solix twice to get the pairing to work. Seems to work now. Solar panel works well. Glad to see connections have migrated to MC4 connectors instead of the proprietary Anker connectors on a friend's Solix.
ONLY problem so far is the adjustable legs of the panel. The unit relies on a long one inch piece of strapping with a snap fastener to adjust the legs. Those snaps are not well made (too tight) and have broken three times in the two weeks. (See attached photo). I have a kit to replace the snaps and used a rivet gun to secure the new snaps on the legs of the panel. I should not be required to do this kind of repair on a new solar panel; so am forced to remove a star from what is a great system.
