the only thing is that it has a bit of a delay when switching from one slot to another but it does an amazing job at keeping all of my devices connected to my decently old tv.
Needed more HDMI ports on my TV. This thing did what I needed it to do. Picked this one over others because the quality seemed higher, and seems to be true. I was able to teach my smart remote the buttons from the included remote so that's nice. My only real gripe is that it sometimes seems to freeze up and no inputs pass through to tv. Hoping it was a power issue and moved it to a dedicated plug instead of the tv. fingers crossed. (cord included, but no wall adapter) Minor silly gripe is the power cord plugs in the side, instead of the back with all the hdmi ports.
Love the brand and most products outperform my expectations. This HDMI switch is incredibly easy to use and have had less issues with this switch then my previous switch. This switch however doesn't allow for our devices (Roku & ps4. Our other devices don't have this feature) to turn on/control our TV where the previous switch did.The other issue is that we start to get artifacts (snow) after a few days without switching inputs. Cycling through inputs will clear it up but we shouldn't have to do that. I would give this a lower rating but there could be other factors contributing to the artifacts so i didn't. The artifacts were not there with our previous switch. It would also be nice if this switch had auto switching capabilities. These are issues i can live with unlike the issues we had with our previous switch.
this has been a life saver on my older tv. we watch DVD movies still and just don't have enough inputs on the TV to handle more than 2 items and we have 3 so this worked out perfectly. easy to set up and easy to use. Highly recommend this. also I absolutely love the Anker brand
For me it’s exactly what I need. There is a slight delay when switching inputs but it’s not a big deal.
