I was excited to get the new unit. After setup everything seemed to be working good. I charged it up with my home AC cable but once I plugged my solar in it would register it was plugged in but would not move off 0% watts of charging. I swapped back to AC power cord and it stated charging. I verified my solar panels are charging, it's 100% the Anker unit not taking DC solar charging. $7000 invested and still they have no sent a replacement after 2 weeks!!!

Purchased the 3800 with two extra batteries. We went through the exact setup process and all seemed well, until we tried charging it with solar (it would only charge of home AC cable). We then were forced to download the app (which I didn't want to do) to update a brand new $7000++ system that should be ready to go out of the box. After all of that and testing it still wouldn't work. We also verified our solar panels were charging and all functioned PERFECTLY on our Ecoflow, hell, we even swapped to the Anker solar cables they provided and still no go.
The biggest reason for a one star review is becuase they refused to setup a return pickup. We live over an hour from the nearest FedEx and didnt have a truck, so we had to wait to borrow one becuase the box wouldn't fit in our cars. So we trouble shoot and boxed the BRAND NEW unit up, lugged it into a BORROWED TRUCK becuase it wouldnt fit in our car, drove 2hr round trip to drop it off and even after that they STILL HAVE NO EVEN PROVIDED US A TRACKING NUMBER FOR THE REPLACEMENT UNIT!!! WE ARE NEVER BUYING WITH THEM AGAIN

Purchased new from Amazon. Received the first unit (late), it was DOA. Second unit, DOA. Third unit, you guessed it, DOA. Banks would not charge. So after about a month of returns/exchanges I purchased a portable Anker "generator" that chose to set it self on FIRE when I had the audacity to use it. In case you're wondering, Anker said that because I got a discount for the inconveniences, the warranty is void. Lawyers and insurance is taking over from here. DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU VALUE A FIRE FREE HOME.

Item arrived well withing shipping time frame mentioned while purchasing. Easy setup. Have not used it yet to provide any further feedback than initial setup experience thay was smooth. Looking forward using it soon.
I've been cycling this unit daily running a few systems in my house for over a month now. It's reliable and hasn't glitched once on me. However I think the app needs some additional features to control things like the battery charge and discharge limits. I realize these functions are available when the Anker Home Power panel is installed, but I think they should be available to the stand alone unit as well.
