The engineers did a good job on this one. Product works great and fits most cars. It is very convenient as a phone mount so I can see the gps. Would recommend.

The charger overall works well, there are just some things I hope that Anker updates in a future version. The cable is not detachable and the magnets could be a bit stronger. Also this charger does not use a standard 17mm ball mount (its closer to 17.75mm), so you can't use this charger with existing 17mm mounts you might have.

Was able to retrofit this to en existing mount in a Wrangler. It used the nut + plastic ball set up. My only issue is that the power cord is hard wired into the charger. Most chargers use some type of off the shelf power cord (ie: USB-C) which can be purchased at the appropriate size. I only need a short power cord and I have to figure out what to do with the supplied 3 feet.

This charger has Qi2 compatibility and charges my iPhone 15 Pro Max very quickly. My phone doesn’t get as hot with it compared to a standard Qi charger. The mount attaches securely to the vent and the magnets are also quite strong. I don’t have any concerns with my phone falling off when going over bumps.Would be 5 stars if the cable were detachable. I’m not afraid of the cable failing but it would be nice to be able to use a shorter cable for a cleaner look.

I like the tightening mechanism on the vent mount… seems less like to accidentally be bumped off. The pivot ball joint holds the angle /phone position well. MagSafe attaches well and charges even with the Apple MagSafe leather and silicone cases.
