    Just OK. Shipping horrible.

Expensive for its features. Does its intended job. No more no less. The connection cable for the battery expansion is rediculously oversized. Shipping was horrible. Waited a week. Got the battery only. Useless without the unit. Waited another week for the unit to arrive. Anker could have cared less and did nothing to make it right. They never told me i had to email them and wait 24 hours for response!

Great quality for a really great price.

The Solix itself is incredible. The expansion battery makes it even better and more useful. It came with about 80% charge, and within 30 minutes both main unit and expansion unit were fully charged. The app is well designed, and was a no brainer to operate. If I had one complaint, it would be about shipping. The documents show they would be shipped separately, but didn't say they could be a week to 10 days separately, and from different parts of the US.

Misleading Sales Tactics – Disappointed with Anker

I ordered the Solix C1000 along with an extra battery bank for an upcoming road trip. When I received my package, it only included the extra battery, along with a statement saying, “Order Complete.” Confused, I reached out to customer service and was told that the C1000 unit itself was backordered—something that was never disclosed at the time of purchase.

Obviously, the extra battery is useless without the main generator, and now my trip is affected because I don’t have the power bank I was counting on. If I had known the C1000 was unavailable, I would have never placed the order. This feels like a deliberately misleading sales tactic, and it has seriously hurt my trust in Anker as a company. I expected better transparency from a brand I once relied on.

Backup Power for Separate Refrigerator and Freezer

I have purchased two C1000 with backup batteries. One is located in the kitchen for the refrigerator and the other in the garage for the freezer. I bought the kitchen power source, initially without the expansion battery, for short term power outages running in UPS mode. The outages tend to happen in the summer where power usually will go out no longer than a few hours at a time. I tested the source before I bought the expansion battery and it lasted more than 9 hours. It was losing about 8% battery life every hour on average. I stopped the test before it went below 10%. I happened to order the second C1000 with the BP1000 just before hurricane Milton formed and unfortunately, I didn't receive it until after the hurricane passed. I also ordered the BP1000 for the kitchen power source, after the storm, for handling the longer outages. The kitchen C1000 stayed connected while I was running parts of the house on either generator or my larger F2600 with its expansion battery. It worked as a backup to the backup and never had any issues. The fridge would continue to run while I swapped back and forth between generator and the F2600. During the outage, it was accessible through Bluetooth from around the house and allowed me to monitor power consumption which told me everything was working as I had hoped. The two C1000+BP will now run 100% of the time in UPS mode and the F2600+BP will be connected to my generator sub-panel during any long term outages. The combination of the three sources + generator will allow me to run the generator no more than 6 hours a day conserving propane and gas in the event of a long term loss of fuel.
I plan on replacing a few UPS units in the house with more power sources as the older UPS SLA batteries have a short run time and short life.

Both units were received with older firmware and they updated without issues. Just remember that if it is updated while the unit is in operation, that the output might be disabled afterward. It happened on both sources and the output had to be manually turned on.

The only recommendations I would have for improvement would be...
    1. Allow the user to set a minimum percent of battery life before it shuts off. This way you could prevent the source from reaching 0%. The same feature should also be available for the expansion batteries.
    2. Provide a way to download data for processing in a spreadsheet (ie csv). I want to monitor the power source's average power output on the different connectors. I would like it mostly for the AC output to use it as a glorified Kill a watt meter.
