I ordered the C1000+200W solar panel on Oct 12th (shortly after Hurricane Milton). A few days later, I contacted Anker’s Customer Service and was told that they were out-of-stock due to high demand (which was understandable given that FL was hit by 2 back-to-back hurricane -Helene and Milton at the time)and was pending restock. Frustrated, I kindly advised them to make the out-of-stock and its estimated shipping statuses transparent on their product website, which they complied within a few days afterwards. My items arrived on Nov 1 (200W solar panel) and Nov 5 (C1000).
1.) Customer Service: My customer service experience with Anker Solix has been wonderful as I noticed that they took my advice on making out-of-stock statuses transparent. Their email and live chat responses have been professional and have all answered my questions/concerns. If contacting their email support, I would watch out for automated email responses, which may have been the cause of emails going unanswered.
2.) 200W Solar Panel: Getting the 200W solar panel was not an easy job as it was double boxed. I have not have the time to actually used it just yet due to cloudiness, but it seems really durable. I didn’t really like the strap angle adjusters on the back, I prefer their previous design were the degree of the angle can be easily changed. I do wish that they would add a user manual with an illustration on how to set up 2-3 200W solar panels using series and parallel methods.
3.) C1000 Power Station: Unfortunately, I purchased this product after Milton was over, so I’m unable to comment on how it works during a full day power outage. But I have tested it on my living room lamp that uses 3 lightbulbs for about close to 2 hours (which used up about 2% of the power). So overall, I really like it and so far it works just as described on their website. I believe it’s definitely going to be very useful during a power outage.
