Anker SOLIX F2000 + BP2600 Expansion Battery - 4608Wh | 2400W

Put the expansion battery in a backpack and wear it. Make a little saddlebags for the rolling power station and you've got a discreet legal way to store up almost 5 kW of power to keep you nice and warm or cool at night in your tent. Do it right and nobody will know what you have to even try to steal it from you. It is perfectly legal to fill this thing up at a coffee shop or a library or anywhere else that has electrical outlets available. It only takes 4 hours to fill this thing up pretty much so you can hang out and sip a drink while you're storing up essential electricity to keep you alive.
My specific situation is that my aunt passed away and her daughter let me live in her mother's mobile home. Unfortunately, the electricity had been turned off for too long of a time and there is a silly law that makes it so that you have to update the entire power pole and all of the gear including the inside box at the mobile home which is at least 8 to $10,000. Being poor there is no way in the world I was going to be able to afford all of that. So instead, I bought this on installments through affirm and I had already purchased a generator some years before. Between the two, this makes the most economical way for me to have electricity at this place. The electric company recently came over and pulled the smart meter off the pole and severed the line from the company. But all of that doesn't matter because I've got everything I need with extension cords running all over the place. I'm in an extremely high crime area. I mean it's ridiculous, they steal everything that's not bolted down. This machine is my saving grace praise God. It powers security lights all around this mobile home at night and keeps me safe. I must have over 10 lights outside and this thing keeps them going for about two nights. The only thing that stopped me from getting the big battery station Anker offers is that if I ever became homeless it would be impractical to take that giant rolling thing into a library undetected. If they had gone with the F2000 'rolling suitcase' design I would have definitely picked that one because of the many more kilowatts of power that it offers.
The only negative I have experienced is that the to USB A ports it has seem to stop charging devices Midway and you have to unplug and replug them in. I'm sure that will be fixed in a firmware update and yes I have the latest firmware. This system is so good I really would like to get a second expansion battery someday.
As for the solar panel, theft is so bad out here I can't even set it up outside for fear of it getting stolen. It would either get stolen or someone would smash it just out of spite. I have it strung out on the screened in porch upside down because I don't have enough length of the solar panel extension cables to put it upright. Tomorrow morning I'm going to try to see if I can get a little bit of power out of it from just the small amount of light that hits the porch in the mornings. Thank you Anker, you have made the best product to save the less fortunate whether you realize it or not. I recommend this unit to everyone whether you've run into hard times or not. It's always good to be prepared.
The unit works and that a plus. With the expansion battery I do get a lot of runtime and I like that I can recharge it via the solar panels which seem to work rather well. I'm happy with that. I also like that everything can be controlled with the phone app. That makes it extremely handy to monitor what is happening in real time.
With low power devices the unit works rather well. This unit boasts that it can handle up to 2400w and that simply has not been the case for me. Every single time my load reaches 1700w the unit shuts down and goes into overload protection mode. 1700w is not even close to the supposed capabilities of this unit. For that reason I can't give it a rating higher than 3 stars.
I would have rated it five stars but out of the box my generator will not charge above 94% and my expansion battery will not charge above 88%.
It's a quiet and powerful power source, 2400w is an amazing power! I use the power station to work with my Travel trailer when we are at places like the beach for day or over night trips . It has been amazing for being able to have an access to our refrigerator and and use of the trailer where we can’t have shore power .
This Anker Powerhouse lives up to its name. I purchased to use as an UPS and be ready to run a fan on my stove, the internet, home alarm and television. It will power all three for about 6 hours. If I chose to conserve power and not use the television it will run the blower on my gas Lopi stove for about 28 hours. It quickly charges while running all of these things. One important thing to know is that you will need at least a 3000 watt generator if you want to charge while using whatever you have plugged in.
