- We live in hurricane prone Florida. We also have regular blackouts during heavy thunder storms. It's wonderful to be able to setup our Anker system to power our essentials in a pinch, without having to setup a gasoline generator outside.
- We have the Anker Solix F2000, with a built in battery capacity of 2048 watt/hours. This battery expands capacity another 2560 watt/hours for a total of 4608 watt/hours.
- Preciously, we could run 2 refrigerators and a chest freezer for 8 hours, but this expansion battery gives us another 9 hours for a total of 17 hours of run time.
- Now that we have a total of 1000 watts of Anker Solar Panels, we can easily recharge the batteries and continue running these same loads without interruption, if the sun shines.
- This Anker system gives us flexibility and another option for renewable power beyond our 2 small Honda generators.

I paired my BP2600 expansion battery with my Solix F2000 which more than doubles my available power in my shed/workshop - awesome! After a quick firmware update to my F2000, the expansion battery was immediately recognized and quickly started charging off my solar panels. Fast forward a couple nights to when the temps outside dipped down to 28 degrees Fahrenheit, and I no longer had power. I could connect my phone via Bluetooth to both of them with the app - they both registered an internal temperature of 32 degrees and were shut down. After repeated failed attempts to restart them, I resorted to warming the space with my propane heater. Once they both registered 33 degrees, they turned back on and were able to continue supplying power to the building. The documentation clearly states they have a discharge window of -4 to 104 degrees and a charge window of 32 to 104 degrees. But clearly that information is inaccurate as I was unable to start either device once it registered a drop to 32 degrees. To say I'm disappointed is putting it mildly. Thousands of dollars invested in the two units and they can't even discharge in the temperatures their manuals say they are supposed to be able too. The most frustrating point is that I couldn't even turn them on to power the heater which would heat them up further.

In the end - I'm happy with how they work in warm weather but extremely disappointed with the cooler weather limitations that aren't communicated well by the manufacturer.

Anker - please either release a firmware update that allows the unit to run in the advertised parameters or update your manuals!

Purchased this expansion battery as a companion to my Anker 767 Powerhouse. I had one issue--which was on me--that my firmware in the 767 needed to be upgraded before it would communicate with the battery. E'mailed Anker and had the issue fixed within 24 hrs. The 4500 combined Watt hrs powers my off-grid cabin. Have cycled the 2600 bty down twice since purchase, with no trouble bringing it back to 100%. Great purchase decision.
