Purchased a second 3800. Easy hookup for the entire system. Took only 20 min to hook up and run a test. All worked great. Have the system powering main operations through transfer switch. I would recommend the automatic transfer switch for the extra few $'s.
Bought the Anker Solix F3800 because I have always trusted Anker products. In saying that one of the important things for me on this Portable Power Station was to have 240V to power important circuits on my house and to support pass- through charging in a power outage. When I order my F3800 their website said it did support pass-through charging. After I received it I tested the pass-through charging and it did not work, now their website says “ Anker stopped implementing the pass-through charging technology because if there is a difference between the output of the wall charger and the input of the device being charged, it can cause the power bank to rapidly power on and off. This increases the charging time for both the power bank and the connected device, which could significantly shorten the lifespan of the power bank.” They have responded to me about this problem saying “Our engineering team is currently working on a resolution”. I just hope they come up with a fix and I am not stuck with a product that I was misled on.

I bought my Solix 3800 on August 25th when they had it on sale. I tried to call to make sure it would do pass threw charging, but on the weekends they have nobody working, so I did order it because I found on their page that it did do that, I called on the 30th (before I received my Solix 3800) to confirm it did support pass threw charging which the technician assured me it did. I then received it on September the 4th & could not get the pass threw charging to work(I wanted this because in case of a power outage I could keep the Solix charged up with a generator & keep everything powered up).I called that day & talked to a technician & he again assured me it should work & did a work ticket (443000273) . I got a email from him asking me to describe my problem which I filled out & that was suppose to go to engineering. I haven’t hard anything else since & now I see where they say it doesn’t support pass through charging! This a big problem is if you have a prolonged power outage & your Solix 3800 battery is low you will have just sit in the dark until your can charge it up with a generator & once it’s charged unplugged from the generator before it works. There is three 120V receptacles on the UPS side that will do pass threw charge, but again I told them I was wanting it to do 240V for the house. I am really disappointed with Anker, I have used their products for years and they have always stood behind them.
