As long as you make sure you have a magsafe ring or case if your phone doesn't have it built in, this is great. I can keep my phone by me at my desk and only plug it in as needed. The magsafe portion can be tilted as needed and this lets you use it. The stand has a nice heavy base that allows phone use without it moving around.
