This thing is pretty much perfect. It does exactly what I wanted the one I bought from Apple for $70 to do. The only differences are that it costs $25 instead of $70, it delivers power to my MacBook through the male USB-C cable when the adapter's USB-C PD port is connected to power, it has an additional USB-C port for connecting/charging other devices, and it has 2 USB-A ports both of which charge other devices. The Apple adapter won't charge your device through its male USB-C cable, even if you have the female USB-C port connected to a power adapter. The Apple adapter will charge devices through its USB-A port.

So easy, slim design. Use it for work to add more displays to laptop. It will do the same for DEX and adding mouse/keyboard.

Stoped working within 6 moths of purchase. Threw it away!EDIT: after I wrote the initial review, Anker reached out to me and gave me a full refund. 4 Star for customer service!!

The device itself has all ports on one side of the device. That makes it hard to add and remove cables. It replaces one that ports on both sides - much easier to add and remove cables.Otherwise, it works well.
