I went for this second version of the MagSafe battery bank after the first one would fail to charge my phone. The charging rate is so slow on this new one that it does not actually charge the phone unless it’s completely idle and not in use with even just glancing at the screen periodically to see if the battery percentage is going up. I’ve been pretty disappointed with Anker products lately.

Stopped working after 8 months of sporadic use

I’ve use the item with a case on and with it off. It charges way too slow. You can not be watching anything and expect it to charge. Very disappointed with the item. I have bought anker items for years and have always been happy. I can not recommend

Knocking off a star because the screen that tells you how much charge the bank has randomly turned black, but the bank still works fine and charges great. Bulkier than the other mag go chargers but has much longer and stronger charging capacity
