With all going on after the elections and the treat of Canada stopping our electricity where I live, I had to be prepared. Now I am!! Thanks to Anker Solix
I recently purchased the Anker SOLIX BP3800 Expansion Battery to pair with my Anker SOLIX F3800, and it has exceeded my expectations. This additional battery has proven to be an essential upgrade for anyone who needs extended power for emergencies, camping, or off-grid living.
The 3,840Wh capacity is impressive and adds a significant boost to the runtime of my power station. I’ve used it to keep my fridge running during outages, charge multiple devices, and even power some tools while working outdoors. It’s incredibly reassuring to have such a dependable backup.
The design and portability are standout features. Despite its large capacity, the BP3800 is surprisingly compact and comes with wheels and a sturdy handle for easy transport. The sleek gray design with blue LED accents looks modern and blends well with my setup. Moving it around is straightforward, which is a big plus for someone like me who frequently takes it on the road.
Durability and long-term reliability are also worth mentioning. The battery uses LiFePO4 technology, which guarantees 3,000 cycles with 80% capacity retention. This means it will last for years, even with regular use. It feels like a solid investment for anyone planning to rely on renewable energy or for home backup solutions.
Setting it up was effortless. It integrates seamlessly with the F3800 power station, and I had it up and running within minutes. The system immediately recognized the added capacity, and there were no issues at all.
The only drawback I encountered was customer service. I had a minor question about the connection process, and it took longer than expected to get a response from Anker. While the product quality is top-notch, I hope they improve their support response time.
Lastly, it’s important to note that this is strictly an expansion battery, so you’ll need the F3800 power station for it to work. If you already own the F3800, though, this is a fantastic way to enhance its performance significantly.
Overall, the Anker SOLIX BP3800 delivers outstanding capacity, durability, and portability. It’s a must-have for anyone looking to expand their power system for emergencies or outdoor adventures. Highly recommended!
F3800 doesn't charge by solar panel at time of delivery/first time setup. So also means I cantput to use expansion battery. Opened ticket to return but some how their 'return label' system not working so I cant ship back and they wont send replacement until label system working. Additionally the portable 400 watt solar panel have cheap snaps for the support tilt legs and the snaps broke on first time use. Cant set best angle for the panel if charging were working. So panels also need to be returned. Its been several days now and still waiting to be able to return. For me, Big $$ at risk and they don't have good support for their products.

Excellent product, easy to add to existing system
Great battery, integration with the power station is very easy and all well made. I love that you can build up to a capacity for your home or other application. Newest firmware charging behavior is great too. Just be aware of the weight when planning how you will use/store/move, as they don’t have wheels like the main power station.
