My wife uses this with her phone, she is in an area for work that doesn't have great reception inside the building and her phone tends to burn down more quickly trying to keep a connection. This will keep her going throughout the day.

I bought this and did not realize there was a newer skimmer version. Clunky but charges phone nicely.

The best part is that it can also be used as a mobile stand. Simply press the side button twice to disable charging and use it as a stand.
